28TH INTAKE 40TH REUNION.
PLEASE PUT THIS IN YOUR DIARY - Long weekend in January 2013 .
Appy News - LETTER FROM ROSSY Well boys over the weekend ten of us went to the All Apprentices Reunion in Canberra and had a great time, not only seeing mates from our intake but mates from other intakes over the years that we spent in the green machine. So over many beers and tall story’s we realized that it is only 14 months to the 40th anniversary of us joining the army. Yes time has flown and sorry if I knocked you off your set with that. So Noel Tipton, Steve Moloney, Rod Butterley, Steve Borton and myself, that we have decided to have our 40th reunion again at the Oakley Bks in Melbourne on the long weekend in January 2013. At this stage we are looking at having the meet and greet to start on Friday about 1400hrs. ( BOYS ONLY )Bar will be open BBQ tea and slide show that was a big hit last time. Breakfast in the morning and you can do your own thing ( look around Melb or go for a drive to Balcombe, light lunch at the Dava hotel ) till we have a sit down dinner with wives, girlfriends, or!!!!. Breakfast on Sunday a quick clean up say good bye We will have some beds set up in a rooms for those who want to stay ( sorry for males only ) there is motels in the area for couples. If anyone has some more ideas please let us know, more info to follow soon. And the most important thing is pass it on to anyone that I don’t have contact with please

A standard room (with one q/s bed) will cost you $130.00 per night. Twin share (with an extra single bed) will be $140.00 per night. Breakfast ranges from $10 – 20 depending on your appetite.
